Position Summary: The Director of Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for partnering with the senior management team to develop and execute HR strategy in support of the organization’s mission and legal services work. This broad, generalist position oversees all core human resources functions, including recruitment, benefits administration (medical, dental, 403(b), and related programs), employee relations, compliance, and required reporting. The Director, along with the Assistant Director, will play a key role in fostering a collaborative, transparent, and inclusive workplace culture. Core Responsibilities:

Legal Services of New Jersey, an Edison-based non-profit law firm that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income New Jerseyans, has an opening for an Intake Paralegal to support our statewide legal hotline. Callers to Legal Services of New Jersey’s Hotline are low-income individuals and families who face eviction, foreclosure, threats of domestic violence, have been sued by creditors or face a variety of other civil legal problems. Callers can access our statewide legal hotline, which provides legal information, advice, and referral in civil legal cases. This service is provided at no charge but applicants must be financially eligible to qualify. All callers are screened for financial eligibility prior to receiving services. Attorney - Domestic Violence Representation Project
Legal Services of New Jersey, the statewide coordinating agency for New Jersey’s network of non-profit corporations that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income residents, has an immediate opening for an experienced attorney to provide legal advice, brief services, and representation to victims of domestic and sexual violence in family court matters (e.g., restraining and protective order hearings, divorce, child support, and custody). Previous experience in the practice of law affecting low-income people especially family/domestic violence is preferred. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
