Diane RisdenDiane Risden suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so severe that she was bed-ridden for weeks at a time. But the bureaucrats who rejected her Social security disability claim could not wear down her will or her resolve. And Legal Services was there to help, bringing the law to bear on a maddening miscarriage of justice that was -- after a long, drawn-out process -- finally set right.

Robert and Beverly SirkelHome (Robert Frost once wrote) is the place where, when you go there, they have to take you in. For Robert and Beverly Sirkel, home had suddenly become a place they had to leave as soon as possible, an increasingly cold and profit-driven place, very different from the warm, welcoming environment they had enjoyed for so many years.
